Class Cancellation

Our workshops are intentionally cozy and small—just the way we like it! Because spots are limited and often sell out well in advance, it’s tricky to fill a seat on short notice when someone can’t make it. To help keep our creative calendar running smoothly (and our doors open!), the following cancellation policy applies to all workshop bookings.

We totally get that life happens—kids get sick, plans change, and surprises pop up. We just ask that you take a moment to read this policy before booking, and understand that we do have to stick to it. As a tiny, independently run studio, we simply can’t make exceptions—but we so appreciate your kindness and understanding. 

If you can provide over 72 hours notice:

For individual bookings, if you need to cancel your spot and are able to give over 72 hours' notice, you will receive a digital store credit that can be used for a future workshop, to shop online, or to shop in person. Store credits never expire, and will be issued to the email used to book the workshop. See below for details on private group bookings.

If you cancel within 72 hours of the start time:

Because our workshops are small and often sell out, it’s very hard for us to fill a spot on short notice. If you cancel within 72 hours of the workshop or don’t show up, we’re unable to offer a store credit or refund — and workshop materials can’t be picked up. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep things fair for our instructors and fellow makers. (Private group bookings have their own details below!)

Private Group Bookings

For private group bookings, we ask for at least 7 days’ notice if you need to cancel. With more than a week’s notice, we’ll issue a store credit that never expires.

Unfortunately, cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop start time can’t be credited, as our instructors and materials are already prepped just for you.

Arriving Late

If you arrive 20 minutes late (60 minutes past the start time), we’ll consider it a no-show. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to join the workshop, and we’re unable to offer a store credit or refund.

Multi-Day Workshops

We’re not able to offer partial refunds for missed sessions or if you can’t finish your project during class time. If you miss a workshop date, please get in touch — we can help you finish your project during a co-working session or you can take it home to complete at your own pace. 

If you need to book a follow-up session because you missed a class, there will be a small charge to cover additional teaching time. However, if you attended all scheduled sessions and simply need a little extra time to wrap things up, we’re happy to offer that extra support at no charge

Agreeing to this Policy

When you sign up for a workshop, you’ll see a little checkbox confirming that you’ve read and agree to this policy. ✅ You’ll need to check that box to complete your registration. By doing so, you’re letting us know you understand and agree to these terms — helping us keep things fair and consistent for everyone in our creative community.

This policy is effective for purchases made on or after November 3, 2025.
