Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

- Sewing patterns (including books and magazines containing patterns)
- Fabric
- Yarn (if not in original packaging)
- Thread
- Cord, bias tape, and similar notions
- Sale items
- Kits that include any of the items listed above
- Gift cards

In-Store Returns

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of purchase for a refund to the original method of payment or for store credit.

Please bring your emailed receipt. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

The Makery reserves the right to refuse any return if the item is damaged, used, or not in its original packaging.

Store credits are issued via email, never expire, and can be used both in-store and online.

Online Order Returns

If you would like to return an online purchase, please contact us first before sending anything back.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds in Currencies Other Than CAD

All purchases made through our website and shop are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

If you paid using a credit card or PayPal account in a different currency, your refund will still be issued in CAD. Due to currency exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and refund, the amount you receive may vary slightly. The Makery is not responsible for any differences caused by exchange rate changes.
