In this class, you will be making a pair of socks from the top down on a single cable needle in magic loop format. The pattern is provided for this class, but students are required to purchase their own yarn, needles, and notions.

Prerequisites: Casting on, knit & purl, working in the round (will be reviewed), experience following a pattern, how to pick up dropped stitches.Skills you’ll learn:

Class 1
Learn the anatomy of a sock
Intro to magic loop
Cast on and knit the ribbing
Knit heel flap
Homework: finish the heel flap
Class 2
Turn heel with short rows
Pick up stitches for gusset
Knit gusset
Homework: Work foot until ready to graft
Class 3
Kitchener stitch and weave in tails
Start second sock

🧶 2.25mm (US1) [to be used for size 7 women's sock] use 2.5mm or 2.75mm if you want a larger sock.

Age Policy
Our workshops are designed for participants aged 16 and over to ensure the best possible learning experience. Participants aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ who is also taking the class, you must have a signed waiver before the class begins.
