Chunky Beanie - Beginner Knitting | 2- Week Class (Thur 17th & 24th Sept or Tue 13th & 20th Oct)

If you're ready to learn to knit then this is the class for you!!! Come and learn the basics skills for knitting with us here at The Makery over 2x 2hr sessions you will walk away with your own Chunky Beanie. The pattern will be provided in class, but the yarn choice is down to you. 

Prerequisites: Beginner knitting skills. Students should be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, casting off and reading a basic pattern/abbreviations. 

Skills you'll learn
- How to hold your yarn and needles 
- Knit & Purl Stitches (Ribbing)
- Decreases 
- Darning in Ends
- Reading a pattern

Chunky Beanie Pattern - Included in Class Fee
1x 10mm Circular Needle, 40cm long
100g Bulky Yarn (123m/135yds)
1x Stitch Marker
Darning Needle 
Scissors

Age Policy
Our workshops are designed for participants aged 16 and over to ensure the best possible learning experience. Participants aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ who is also taking the class, you must have a signed waiver before the class begins.
