Black/Red Papercut Quilted Indian Cotton - Merchant & Mills (Per ½ Meter)

This stunning fabric showcases a bold Bagru block print—jet black on one side, fiery red on the other—crafted in Rajasthan using time-honoured hand-printing techniques. Hailing from a village where the Chippa community has perfected their craft for over four centuries, each print celebrates traditional artistry and natural dyes.

The quilted finish features charming straight-line stitching spaced 1cm apart (with bolder horizontal lines appearing every metre), adding wonderful texture and dimension. Perfect for adding character to your next sewing project, this Indian cotton blend brings heritage craftsmanship and playful personality to every stitch.

Please note that the cloth is 106cm wide but only 95cm of the width has been quilted.

🚨Important Info🚨: Indian hand-printed cloths are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

Care Instructions 
For the couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
