The Makery Guided Sewing Sessions

Join Hannah Kinsey for hands-on sewing guidance in an intimate group setting. Perfect for makers at any level, these semi-private sessions let you tackle your own projects with expert support—whether you're starting something new, need a confidence boost, or want to master a tricky technique. 

Work in our fully equipped studio featuring Janome sewing machines, sergers, and all the tools you need. From sewing basics and pattern reading to zippers, buttons, and advanced finishes, you'll get personalized help that's affordable and way more effective than scrolling ya socials. Bring a project you're excited about and leave with real skills and momentum.

What’s Included & What to Bring

Included in your session:
- One Janome sewing machine per participant
- Two sergers available for shared use (serger thread provided)
- Irons and a variety of ironing tools
- Scissors, chalk, pins, and other essential sewing tools

What to bring:
Please bring — or plan to purchase — any materials you’ll need for your project, such as sewing patterns, fabric, thread, zippers, buttons, or other notions. If you’re missing anything, you’re welcome to purchase supplies from our shop before class.

Fabric tip:
Most of the fabric we carry will shrink when washed. We recommend purchasing your fabric in advance and washing it before sewing to ensure the best results.

🚨Cancellation🚨 
All class fees are non-refundable. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive store credit. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the class fee. For more information please read our cancellation policy.

Age Policy
Our workshops are designed for participants aged 16 and over to ensure the best possible learning experience. Participants aged 16–17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ who is also taking the class, you must have a signed waiver before the class begins.
